On December 20, 2020, One Health Foundation accompanies the doctors of Hong Duc Hospital who were present in Xuan Quang 2 commune, Dong Xuan district, Phu Yen province to participate in the program “Accompanying healthcare health for the people of Phu Yen province” Examination, distribution of medicines, gifts for 200 elderly people and children.
Xuan Quang 2 is a particularly difficult commune in the midland mountainous district of Dong Xuan, with an estimated population of about 3500 households. Here the weather and climate change erratically. There are years of drought so much that there is no water for living and irrigation, there are times of continuous rain and storms, sometimes lasting for months.
During the one-hundred-year historic flood, Dong Xuan in general and Xuan Quang 2 in particular were one of the most heavily affected localities of Phu Yen province. Damage to people and property. Many people were left empty-handed because their possessions were swept away, many families were divided because of floods and storms. Right now, they are in need of attention, help and sharing from the community.
One Health Foundation, as a co-sponsor, participated in the program “Companion with health care for people in Phu Yen province”
In this program, One Health Foundation, as a co-sponsor along with leading doctors and nurses of Hong Duc General Hospital, examined, dispensed medicine, and gave gifts to 200 elderly people. Free medical examination and distribution and scholarships for 50 children.
